The MC3-250A now leaves Feidong with torque monitoring in the ram, not bolted on afterwards. Every liner bolt writes a break-out number the supervisor can read before the next one is punched.
Why the mill asked
Knock-out on a medium mill used to be a 15–20 day job by hand. The MC range already cut that. What crews still could not see was whether a seized bolt was coming or a clean one. The 250A puts that on a live log so the ram is not guessing.
What ships
MC2-150, MC2-250A and MC3-230A stay in the range. Dedicated hydraulic power units. Recoilless hit. The 250A adds torque monitoring as standard. Same mill-floor footprint. Same pendant the crew already knows.
For selection on a mill drawing, start with the MC bolt-ram page, or send the bolt pattern to sales.
“People did not ask if we make a ram. They asked how the ram talks to the mill’s existing torque procedure.”
