Feed chute transporter handed over at a copper concentrator

The mill did not want a building crane over a live floor. The transporter took the feed chute out on a planned stop, sat it clear of the trunnion, and put the replacement in on the same window.

What the kit is for

Feed chute assemblies are heavy and awkward. On a shutdown they sit on the critical path of every liner job. A transporter sized for mill-deck duty moves them with fewer people in the hazard zone — the same idea as the liner handler: keep the crew off the load.
